// Yorkshire Grand Départ Cultural Festival submission for Batley Working with local volunteers and community groups including BatleySmile, BatleyFestival and local agency iPerception, Design Bomb originated the Cycling Shorts concept for inclusion in the Grand Départ Cultural Festival, designed to celebrate the Tour de France coming to Yorkshire in 2014 and help raise Yorkshire's creative profile. Cycling Shorts showcases the very best of local community artistic talent through a series of short events spread over the days leading up to the Yorkshire Grand Départ. Initially designed for the town of Batley, the concept can easily be adapted for use within other communities across the Yorkshire region and beyond. |
